elephant sketch

This school semester I am taking another mandatory drawing class. Within the first couple classes I knew this was going to be a good class. This is the first out of a series of sketches. It feels good getting back into the motion of drawing.

Skull

Drawing class homework. We are learning how to do portraits in graphite. My professor says to learn how to draw a face you have to know what goes on beyond that. What is under the face? Hence, we had to draw a skull. Here is the frontal view.

UP movie Fan Art

I love this movie, and the artwork along with it. I like how the little girl in the movie is all excited and friendly, meanwhile the boy is shy and quiet. Here’s a little sketch of the girl from the beginning of the movie.

Charles and J.Frank Duryea gasoline-powered car, 1893. I drew this with pen on a page from someone’s agenda, in my history class while the teacher was reviewing for the midterm. Ever since I was young I was always drawing on everything, from hand-out worksheets, to the top of desks.
